Development of an Online Self-learning Platform on "Teaching Cantonese as a Second Language" (for Non-Chinese Speaking Learners)
The aim of this project is to develop an "Online Cantonese Self-learning Platform" (Self-learning Platform) for non-Chinese-speaking students at our school, as well as foreign teaching staff and community members who have a need to learn Cantonese. The platform will align with the teaching themes and learning needs of the Cantonese courses offered by our center. It will provide students with more topic-based content (including phonetic knowledge, common phrases in different contexts, and Hong Kong cultural customs) and online practice resources for self-learning. The goal is to complement existing subject teaching content and enable students to overcome the limitations of time and space, allowing them to engage in active self-directed learning anytime and anywhere outside the classroom.
