Personal Profile

Eddie has got more than 20 years work experience in the education sector, and has served locally for several universities including Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Department of Building and Real Estate), University of Hong Kong (Faculty of Education) and Hong Kong Baptist University (Department of Management). He has also worked overseas as a lecturer at School of Management, Queensland University of Technology, Australia and a senior lecturer at Southern Cross Business School, Southern Cross University, Australia. He earned his first PhD in Project Management from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and his second PhD in Business Management from The University of New South Wales (Australia). He also completed award-bearing programs from several well-known universities, including University of London (the UK), The University of Hong Kong, University of Leicester (the UK), Griffth University (Australia), and Coventry University (the UK). He is an external reviewer for university courses and well-known journals and an internal reviewer for research proposals at EdUHK. He is an active researcher and has published more than 80 papers in mainstream journals. He has presented in international conferences. His research interests include transfer of training, values, research methods and analyses, and teaching and learning. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the journal "Information and Learning Science" (Emerald Publishing; in Emerging Sources Citation Index). According to Research.com, his D-index is 34; in the field of business and management, his world ranking is 994 and national ranking is 40 (as at 5 Jan 2023). According to Scopus, his h-index is 33 (as at 5 Jan 2023). He is also named as one of the world's top 2% scientists by citation by Stanford University.
