Professional Profile

Yanmin had extensive training and education in educational studies, linguistics, and professional education, with degrees from Canada, Hong Kong, the U.K., and mainland China. She is currently a lecturer at the Graduate School of the Education University of Hong Kong.

Before her doctoral study, Yanmin was an EFL teacher for about 4 years and also had an experience in student discipline, counselling and guidance, curriculum development, and teacher professional development.

Her current research focuses on the professional learning of teachers, pedagogical practice and workplace learning in applied degree education. She is also interested in the field of classroom research and the changing learning environment of vocational students.
