Personal Profile

Dr. Ning Luo is a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Cultural and Creative Art, EDUHK. She holds a BA in Art from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, a Master of Arts Education from South China Normal University, and an EdD from the Education University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include Community-based Arts Education and cultural responsiveness, arts teacher education and teacher-artist identities, gender, creative identities and school arts education. Her publications featured in various journals, such as Identity: An International Journal of Theory and Research, International Journal of Art & Design Education, International Journal of Music Education, and handbooks and edited books. Dr. Luo teaches Research Methodology, History of Art Education and Curriculum Assessment and Evaluation. Additionally, she has contributed to community service, teaching art to migrant children, rural left-behind children and ethnic minority children.
