Impact Measurement of Adventure and Wellness Camps Collaboration Programmes
The project aims to evaluate user satisfaction and the psychological impact of adventure and wellness camps through a structured research study. It compares independent and co-organized camps, assessing social-emotional competence and psychological well-being while identifying behavior change in adventure recreation participation.

Investigating the Effect of the 6-Week Mindful Self-Compassion Program for Emerging Adults (EYL) on Stress Response, Brain Activity, and Self-compassion among Chinese University Students: An Electroencephalogram (EEG) Pilot Study Using the Portable MUSE Headband
This study aims to introduce and evaluate the "Embracing Your Life" (EYL) program, a Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) intervention tailored for Chinese university students. The research examines psychological outcomes such as resilience, self-compassion, mindful attention, and well-being, along with objective neural measures using the portable MUSE EEG headband. The study integrates self-report measures and neurophysiological data to assess the program's efficacy in promoting mental health.

The Effectiveness of the Mindful Self-compassion Exercise Program and Mindful Self-compassion Yoga Program on Enhancing Mindful Self-compassion for Physical Activity, Mindful Self-Care, and Healthy Lifestyle Behaviour among Hong Kong Youth: A Mixed Method Pilot Study
1. To establish a mindful self-compassion exercise program (MSCE) and a mindful self-compassion yoga program (MSCY).
2. To examine and investigate the effectiveness of the mindful self-compassion exercise program on enhancing Hong Kong youth's physical activity level, mindful self-compassion for physical activity, mindful self-care and healthy lifestyle behaviours (Both Quantitative and Qualitative)
3. To compare the effectiveness between the MSCE group and the MSCY group, in comparison with the control group.

The Effects of Walking on Frailty, Cognitive Function and Quality of Life among Inactive Older Adults in Saudi Arabia: A Randomized Control Trial by Comparing Supervised Group-based Intervention and Non-supervised Individual-based Intervention
Walking is the most popular and safest form of physical activity among older adults. The purpose of the study was to compare the effects of supervised group-based walking and non-supervised individual-based walking interventions on frailty, cognitive function and quality of life among inactive older adults in Saudi Arabia.

Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong – Jockey Club Walking Football Project”
This is a mixed-method longitudinal research study which aimed to examine the effectiveness of the walking football training on improving participants’ level of physical fitness, walking football skills and psychological status. It is an ongoing tracking assessment of the participants who participated in the walking football training courses continuously, as well as those who engaged in the advanced walking football training.

Research and Evaluation of “Home-School Physical Fitness and Health Programme for Kindergarten Children
The longitudinal research study aims to assess the overall effectiveness of the physical
fitness and active lifestyle programs and activities for kindergarten students aged 3 to 6 years old,
under child-parent and home-school models of support.
