Behind-the-scene: How preschool teachers prepare their lessons?
Getting start to plan a lesson is always difficult for student teachers. Unlike primary and secondary curriculum which is guided by textbooks in different subjects, preschool curriculum is school-based and integrated by various approaches (e.g. thematic approach, project approach and High/Scope etc). Student teachers in early childhood education (ECE) experience more difficulties in planning their own lessons.
This project aims to make the process of planning and preparation of a full unit/theme and/or project explicit to student teachers in early childhood programmes.
