Mathematical Exploration and Modelling for Gifted Students in Hong Kong Junior Secondary Schools
This project aims to enhance the mathematical potential and ability of gifted students. It is a yearlong project in which students go through two stages of training: the first covers background Mathematics and IT and the second focuses on research/modelling project work. The objectives of the project are: 1. To consolidate and strengthen understanding of existing mathematical knowledge 2. To extend the scope of knowledge via exploration and research on advanced mathematical topics and mathematical modelling.
